Class Description:For students who know how to play a full game of chess and are ready for strategy. Story Time Chess tells stories that transform chess pieces into a memorable cast of quirky characters that help children understand and play chess. Our intermediate chess classes give students a foundation of theory and tactics. Through stories, guided challenges, and game scenarios, kids learn intermediate concepts including opening strategy, helpful variants, piece value, tactics, and coordinated piece play. Every lesson builds toward confident, strategic gameplay, ready for both friendly and competitive matches.
