Class Description:Does your child love to draw, build, experiment, or notice unusual little details? This eight-week introductory art class is for curious young artists who want to learn how to slow down, look closely, and draw what they actually see—not simply copy familiar symbols. Children will work with charcoal, chalk, oil pastels, paint, collage, tracing, projection, and child-friendly cardboard tools. Projects include observational drawings, expressive faces, a projected self-portrait, and a dimensional cardboard face sculpture. Small teacher-led groups and simple independent stations allow children to receive individual guidance while building confidence and creative independence. No previous art experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to look again.
