The annual Larchmont Charter School
Culinary Food Market
(formerly known as the Bake Sale!)
Not your typical “Bake Sale” – hence why we are now calling it the Culinary Food Market! This is an incredible opportunity for the many talented chefs in our community to shine by contributing your "specialty" dish(es). All dishes that are submitted will be assembled into a spectacular menu for purchase by members and friends of our LCS community. Dishes will be handed out at the annual LCS World Fair on Saturday, December 14th.

BAKED GOODS
Do you have a great cookie, cake or pie recipe you'd love to share with the community? Can you whip up some cookie dough to freeze for holiday visitors? How about making a few of your favorite holiday cheesecakes?
CASSEROLES, SOUPS and SAVORY ITEMS
This is our most in-demand category! You aren't limited to sweets. This is a great way for people to stock up the fridge/freezer/pantry for holiday parties and visitors, or for themselves. Some past successes have included: lasagna, gumbo, soups, chilis, vegan entrees, frozen appetizers, meatballs, pasta sauces, pesto, dips, family-friendly casseroles...
TREATS FOR DAY-OF SALE
These contributions will be individually-packaged and ready to sell the day of the Culinary Food Market.
Basic items do best - classic cookies, cupcakes, brownies, rice krispie treats, individually packaged and ready to enjoy.
*Please try to note if something has nuts!

WE'LL CREATE THE MENU
We'll compile all the incredible items to create the Culinary Food Market Menu and showcase here allowing our entire LCS community and our local friends and acquaintances to order these incredible dishes.
Feel free to print and post the menu link at work, school, wherever you think you might find hungry people.

By December 4th we'll let you know how many orders have been received for your contribution so you can plan your cooking schedule.

We will email designated drop-off times for you to bring your completed dishes on Friday, DECEMBER 13th and Saturday, DECEMBER 14th (early morning).

Orders will be available for pick-up by customers in the later morning/afternoon during the World Fair event.
***We'll send out more specific instructions to those who plan to participate including drop-off and packaging information.**

If you know a talented friend / professional caterer / chef / restaurateur that may be willing to donate, please reach out to them as well! Most people find that 3-6 orders are manageable.
Pro-tip: It's always easier on the chef (you!) to make (for example) six of the SAME casserole rather than two casseroles, two pies and two sauces.
